| Nitrous oxide, colloquially known as laughing gas, is an important nitrogen oxide. By introducing chemical synthesis and synthetic chemistry of nitrous oxide, its mechanism of action in human body and medical application, and environmental issue caused by emission of nitrous oxide, basic knowledge of N2O related to synthetic chemistry, biochemistry and environmental chemistry can be well introduced. |
