      纳米金刚石是一种新型的碳纳米粒子,具有高的硬度、化学稳定性、生物相容性和良好的热传导性等,有广阔的应用前景。对于纳米金刚石的应用,大多需要对其进行表面修饰。本文主要结合近年来国内外研究成果,阐述了纳米金刚石的表面修饰方法,包括氢化、羧酸化、羟基化及其它表面修饰。总结了纳米金刚石在润滑、抛光、生物医学、复合材料等领域的应用。

      Nanodiamond is one of the important materials of nanostructure carbons which has been attracted considerable attention in various fields owing to its outstanding hardness, high chemical stability, fine biocompatibility and excellent thermal conductivity. Under high-temperature and high-pressure detonation and oxidation purification process, some functional groups, e.g., -COOH, -OH, -C-O-C could be created on diamond surface. Diamond nanoparticles are generally supplied as agglomerated powder because of their high surface free energy, and particle dispersion is an important issue and it is necessary to modify the nanodiamond for most of its applications. In this report, research progress in the surface modification of nanodiamond including hydrogenation, carboxylation, hydroxylation and other modification was described. Applications and advances of investigations in the fields of lubricant, polishing, biomedicine and composites were summarized.
