This review article summarizes the recent developments of inorganic hybrid nanostructures with specific surface/interface, with a focus on the key parameters in their controlled synthesis. Based on our recent process, we mainly discuss the design of hybrid structures for controlling their surface/interface and modulating their electronic states. The hybrid nanostructures possess unique properties in reaction molecular adsorption and activation enabled by the optimizations of surface/interface and charge state, which in turn exhibit superior performances in catalytic reactions to single-component catalysts. |
