      微小RNA(microRNA)和小的干涉RNA (small interfering RNA)是两类具有调节基因表达功能的内源性非编码性小RNA分子。它们已成为多种疾病的潜在治疗药物,逐渐被应用于基因治疗中,而将小RNA应用于基因治疗亟需一种安全高效的递送载体。壳聚糖及其衍生物作为一种可降解、低细胞毒性的递送载体,在递送小RNA方面具有极大的潜力。本文介绍了近年来壳聚糖及其衍生物纳米微粒作为递送miRNA和siRNA载体的制备及应用的相关进展。
英文摘要:
      MicroRNA (miRNA) and small interfering RNA (siRNA) are small, noncoding endogenous RNA regulatory molecules that control gene expression. They have become a potential therapeutic target for a variety of diseases and are gradually used in gene therapy. The application of small RNA in gene therapy needs a safe and efficient delivery carrier. Chitosan and its derivatives as carrier in drug deliveries have good mechanical properties and low cytotoxicity. It has great potential in the delivery of small RNA. In this review, the recent progress in the preparation and application of chitosan as miRNA and siRNA delivery carriers is reviewed.
