| Since the discovery of white phosphorus and red phosphorus one after another, the concept of elemental phosphorus has taken shape. At the beginning of the 20th century, the discovery of black phosphorus broke through people"s understanding of phosphorus element. Subsequently, the emergence of purple phosphorus, blue phosphorus, diphosphorus molecules and cyclic phosphorus gave new developments in the concept of elemental phosphorus. The discovery of several new elements of phosphorus has established a new paradigm for the concept of elemental phosphorus. Scientists will continue to advance on the road of exploring the diversification of the concept of elemental phosphorus. |
