| The common preparation methods of methacrylate functionalized microspheres were reviewed in recent five years，each method was analyzed with examples，and the latest research progress of such microspheres in the fields of chromatographic filler，molecularly imprinted polymer,immobilized enzyme，drug carrier and water treatment was summarized.Finally,the development trend of methacrylate microspheres was prospected. |
