Palladium alloy membranes have been widely used for hydrogen isotopes separation and purification due to their hydrogen permeability properties, as well as chemical and thermal stabilities. The excellent hydrogen permeability of palladium-silver and palladium-yttrium alloy membranes has received extensive attention among many palladium alloy membranes. The hydrogen permeability properties and anti-poisoning of PdAg、PdY multicomponent alloy membranes are compared, the fabrication methods and hydrogen selectivity of PdAg composite membrane are summarized, and the research progress of hydrogen isotope separation with the palladium alloy membranes is mainly introduced. The future research directions of palladium alloy membranes are prospected. |
