| CAI Qirui, known as "China"s leading catalyst", is a famous physical chemist and educator in China. As a researcher, he founded the first catalysis teaching and research department in Chinese universities, proposed four coordination catalysis effects, developed molecular catalysis research methods, and devoted himself to the research of carbon-chemical new energy and composite catalysts. As an educator, he advocates innovation, careful and realistic, interdisciplinary teamwork spirit, and cultivates and edifies a large number of catalytic talents. By reviewing Mr. CAI Qirui"s study experience and scientific research course, this paper focuses on CAI Qirui"s outstanding contributions to the catalysis field, energy and chemical industry, education and teaching in China. |
